Locally based in Florence, Massachusetts, Emily Rosenfeld's unique designs are easily customizable and meant to hold a personal meaning for the wearer. Using Judaic symbolism such as the chai or hamsa, as well as images that resonate universally, Emily says, "My work is given its full meaning when it becomes part of your personal expression. I hope the joy and strength I get from making this work inspires you."

After graduating with a degree in English, Emily spent two years working for the production jewelers, Lewis and Hubener. That experience showed her that she wanted to earn her living with her hands. Emily began making her own jewelry in 1991. "For two years I ran my business out of a Murphy bed closet," Emily says. "Since then I have settled in Western Massachusetts. With a view of birch trees and a river we swim in during the summer, my studio is in a converted factory building filled with other artists. I feel continually inspired to develop new designs and play with new materials and techniques."
Emily's sterling silver jewelry is perfect for customizing. You can mix and match different charm elements or have a piece stamped with a name, initial, birthday or meaningful word. And now you can add in gemstone briolettes for a dash of color!
