Laurel Smith, owner and designer of Laurel Denise, has been designing jewelry and gifts since 2005. A graduate in Studio Art from James Madison University, Laurel now lives and works in a studio in Charlottesville, Virginia. Now in her second season at Pinch, we’re excited to carry her inspiring collection of affordable handmade jewelry.
Laurel has been creating her whole life. The vision and motivation behind Laurel Denise is not simply to make jewelry, but to take what could be considered a “job” and make it into art. Laurel wants to take jewelry and turn it into an experience, a story, pieces that can be passed down.
These sterling silver and vermeil pendants feature Laurel’s unique handwriting laser cut into each piece. The designs are individually handmade with 80% recycled silver. The collection also includes pendants on adjustable leather cord which come in adorable glass vials – perfect for gift-giving!
