Lucy Fagella

Handmade Pottery for the Kitchen

Based in Greenfield, Massachusetts, local artist Lucy Fagella creates beautifully detailed handmade pottery “for the foodie in your life.” Her collection of kitchenware includes berry bowls, brie bakers, garlic grate dishes, batter bowls, apple bakers, french butter keepers, salt cellars, egg cups and of course, everyday mugs and bowls.  Dishwasher and microwave-safe, Lucy's functional porcelain dishware makes a wonderful addition to anyone's kitchen or table.

Lucy’s pottery is eminently collectable; although each piece is unique, the pieces work together seamlessly. Each piece is hand in a kiln at up to 2000 degrees. Once the initial firing is complete, the designs and glazes are hand painted on the pottery and then fired again. Gorgeously designed, beautifully decorated and handmade with love and care, each piece has a life and beauty of its own.

A graduate of the Alfred University College of Art and Design, Lucy has been teaching and making pottery for twenty years. She says of her creative process, "The sheer physical nature of pottery making fills many aspects of my being. It satisfies both the artist and the athlete in me.”
