Clocks by Lemnos

As a brass casting manufacturing industry in Takaoka-city, Toyama Prefecture, Japan and launched into the full-scale business trade with Seiko Clock Co., Ltd. since 1966. In late 1980, TAKATA Lemnos entered into the development for the original planning of the “Lemnos Brand” with its debut clock masterpiece “HOLA” designed by Kazuo Kawasaki in 1989. “Hola” has received awards throughout the world and is now part of the permanent collection in the Whitney Museum.

        Beyond its beautiful design, Lemnos uses  silent sweep or step movement with minimum ticking.Lemnos has worked in collaboration with world-class designers such as Riki Watanabe, Kazuo Kawasaki, Shin Azumi, Tomoko Azumi, Kanae Tsukamoto, Andrea Branzi.

In recent years, Lemnos has given high priority to develop interior accessories making full use of Japan’s traditional techniques in order to make elegant, extremely attention to detailed products. Lemnos products are made carefully by skilled craftsmen in Japan. They bring out the essence of the materials to the maximum and create fine products in order to lead, not follow design and lifestyle trends
