"Little Korboose draws on modern, minimalist design traditions, with a distinctive playful twist. Founded by April Nemeth in 2008, the decision to start her own business came from the desire to learn how to screen print, as well as passions around physical/environmental health and US economic health. She translated these passions into her business and has been committed to having merchandise meet two standards: eco friendly and made in the USA.
"All of Little Korboose materials are carefully sourced to guarantee that they are of the highest quality and produced in a sustainable manner. Our products are also created and manufactured in the USA by April and her talented team, many in our Ohio studio."
The name “ Little Korboose” is inspired by modern architect Le Corbusier.
Corbusier is also the name of April’s Russian Blue kitty.
April is an innovator, business owner, maker and visual communicator. She has been drawing for as long as she can remember and through the years has stayed true to herself in everything she has created. Her love for simple, clean design is showcased in her modern, playful works of art.
April has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for over ten years after graduating from Kent State University with a BFA in Visual Communication Design.
