Dale Zimmerman works mainly with broadleaf tree woods such as maple, alder, cherry and black walnut. Dale's exquisite turned wood bowls involve an eight-month drying period as part of their creation, and range in diameter from 10" to 18" with a 2" - 6" depth. After sanding, each piece is finished with a generous coat of oil and a coat of good quality wax paste. The finish is completely food safe.
