Dust is a new line of studio furniture from craft artist Vincent Thomas Leman. Whimsical in nature, the Dust furniture line comes in many "Dr. Suessian" shapes with a rich array of color options.

The finishes used on Dust's furniture are just as unique as the designs. The bright, rich painted finishes are based on artist grade Golden fluid acrylics and highlighted with various glazing & distressing techniques. Wood finishes are based on combinations of dyes and pigment stain. Both of these finishes are protected by a high quality Urethane Finish, which is a tough, environmentally friendly, waterborne finish.

Painted furniture is constructed of Baltic Birch Plywood, which allows the flexibility of design required by Dust. Baltic Birch is a laminated panel product made from solid birch. Dust uses Baltic Birch as a higher quality alternative to MDF. Dust makes strong furniture using corner blocks and laminated sides. Dust's furniture comes with adjustable feet to give the piece a solid stand on uneven floors. Dust also makes use of the innovative functional hardware of Blum.

According to Vincent, "All of Dust's furniture is handcrafted and made in America. Dust focuses on design while striving to maintain functionality. Merging art and life is a key goal of Dust."

The Dust Furniture options include numerous cabinet and bookcase options, mirrors, and wine racks. Any of these designs can be produced in one of Vincent's paint colors.
