A self taught artist born and raised in London, England, Ian Nicholas works in several mediums, including oil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic. According to Ian, “I think it’s important to be auto-biographical in my work. The kind of art that moves me is almost always autobiographical. I’m simply attempting to capture on canvas and paper the emotions and moods I’m feeling right now.”

Each canvas is a signed, original piece of art created in pencil, charcoal, soft pastel and oil pastel. The completed canvas is oil glazed and varnished. The sides are painted black and hardware for hanging is already attached to the back. Each pieces comes with an artist biography.

Pinch Gallery currently features pieces from Ian’s Nature, Quote and Little Quote series. The canvases are priced according to size: 5”x7” is $65, 6”x12” is $85, 8”x24” is $185 and 16”x16” is $290.
