Jan R. Carson's mobiles bring the delicate beauty of nature indoors, constructed of hand cut silk and fine gauge stainless wire. Her silk leaf mobile designs include Japanese maple, palm, gingko and aspen, in a variety of artist choice or custom colors.

Jan is a passionate observer of the natural world and says, "Translations of tree leaves and branch forms, my mobiles express simultaneous constancy and change, balance and an interconnection between all things. Each mobile's effortless, flowing movement is intended to emulate nature's profound grace."

A 2002 finalist for the NICHE Award, Jan R. Carson's fiber works have been featured in juried, invitational, and solo exhibitions and are in numerous private collections. She has recently begun creating larger, commissioned pieces for corporations and public spaces.
