All Wedge Works pieces are handmade by Matt Johnson, welder, sculptor and painter. Matt Johnson has created private, commercial and architectural metal works for over ten years. Wedge Works pieces are primarily forged/fabricated steel with wood accents – often using antique barn wood and sometimes other found objects.

While Matt Johnson has an extensive repertoire of pieces he’s created – including console tables, end tables, coffee tables, vanities, mirrors, coat racks, chairs and garden benches – he delights in the individuality of each project. According to Wedge Works, “Wedge Works prides itself on the brand of focus and attention it can give to each piece, no matter how large or small, and on it’s ability to arrive at an unexpected and completely unique solution to each design situation.”
